StructureSolver 3.0 introduced the Structural Component feature. This feature enables the interpreter to divide a section into separate parts that can be analyzed and maipulated independently using the tools in StructureSolver. The Structural Component feature is particularly useful in restoration of complex overthrust and imbricate structures, and of structures with mobile layers, such as salt structures. In this video, we show simple examples of restoration of an overthrust structure, the Toldado Anticline, Colombia, restoration of the structure around a large salt diapir in the Gulf of Mexico (from Rowan et al.), and of an extensional fault sytem (from a road cut in Iran).
