Enhanced Help and Guidance
We are always striving to make StructureSolver as intuitive and easy-to-use as possible. Our goal is that both new and experienced users can quickly apply sophisticated and rigorous structural modeling techniques to their structural problems.
We have added a new StructureSolver welcome page with “First Time Instructions” for getting started. Likewise, the Restoration and Structural Modeling functions have similar pages for first-time users.
The interactive functions in StructureSolver 2.0 now feature detailed dynamic labels at the cursor to guide the user when the functions are activated. All functions have interactive diagnostics and timely and comprehensive error and warning messages designed to help users identify and mitigate structural inconsistencies. Collectively, these features are designed to have StructureSolver users producing highly reliable structural models and analyses in a minimum of time.
We have also expanded the “Getting Started” section (you will need to be logged in to access this page) in the Help documentation with more detailed instructions and suggested workflows to assist new users in applying StructureSolver’s various tools. This is a very useful resource for a new or infrequent user of StructureSolver.
